Deus Ex is Deus Ex, my brain hurts at the concept of what I’m about to do. I’m about to try and explain Deus Ex to you, how do you not know what it is would be my first question. Before I go any further I shall grace you with a history lesson, the designer behind Deus Ex would be Warren Spector, this name is one you should be familiar with as he brought you not only Deus Ex but Thief: Dark Project, System Shock, some of the Ultima games and more recently Epic Mickey. This is a man that loves giving you brilliant things and doesn’t disappoint.
Deus Ex is a cyberpunk RPG game and could easily be defined as the greatest PC game of all time, and most people would agree on that aspect. Deus Ex originally came out 11 years ago has sold more than 1 million copies and even if you were to play it today having done so many times before, you could still find something in that game which you never found before.
You can either play the game using stealth, sniping, speech, heavy assault, hacking or many other choices falling in between those.
After 11 years the game is still going strong, and is one of if not the best RPG experience you will ever get and at the price it currently is these days you would be hard done by to find better value for money.
Nothing more can be said on the subject, except that if you have not played this game, you owe it to yourself to play it.
